The prices in real estate in Karachi, in the Sindh region have had a strong rise in the last couple of months. The real estate prices for second hand homes have gone through a strong increase in this city.
The price per sq.feet in Karachi has increased strongly during the last 6 months. In October, the average price per sq.feet was Rs. 7,286. In the following month the price per sq.feet increased considerably to Rs. 9,024. The price for the following two months in (December, January) had a considerable increment of 128 %. The price per sq.feet has barely changed in the last two months compared to the average price of the previous four months going from an average price of Rs. 9,291.25 to Rs. 9,712 during February y March
Based upon to the price in Karachi (cities), this has fallen considerably in the last 6 months. The average price during our first sample month during October, is Rs. 2.29 crores. During November the price went through a considerable rise reaching Rs. 3.06 crores. During the following two months (December, January) the average price had a considerable reduction of 71 % with regard to the previous two months. During the last two months the average price has had a strong fall compared to the previous four going from Rs. 2.28 crores to Rs. 1.09 crores, which means a 48 % fall.
