The prices in real estate in Karachi, in the Sindh region have had a strong fall in the last couple of months. The real estate prices for second hand homes have gone through a strong fall in this city.
The price per sq.feet in Karachi has had a strong decrease during the last 6 months. In June, the average price per sq.feet was Rs. 18,271. In the following month the price per sq.feet decreased considerably to Rs. 12,213. The price for the following two months in (August, September) had a considerable decrease of 21 with regard to the prior two months. The price per sq.feet has had a considerable deflation of 33 % in the last two months compared to the average price for the previous four months. This was obtained by comparing the first four months of the period going from a price per sq.feet of Rs. 9,216.5 to Rs. 3,001.5 during October, and November.
Based upon to the price in Karachi (cities), this has gone up considerably in the last 6 months. The price in June is Rs. 1.07 crores, rising in July till Rs. 1.2 crores. During the following two months (August, September) the average price had a considerable increase of 259 % with regard to the previous two months. "Commercial" is the most costly type of property with a Rs. 37,951 / sq.feet cost followed by "House" with an average price of Rs. 19,551 / sq.feet.
