The average price in the Punjab region has had a slight decrease in recent months. There has been a deflation in the prices in this region.
The price per sq.feet in Punjab has risen in the last 6 months. During February, the average price per sq.feet was Rs. 19,376. The following month the price decreased to Rs. 18,159 per sq.feet. In the following two months (April, May) the price per sq.feet has risen strongly to a 157 %. In the last two months, the price per sq.feet has had a significant decrease of 29 %. This has been obtained by comparing the price of Rs. 24,120.25 for the first four months of the sample with regard to the previous 4 months and the price of Rs. 7,061.5 per sq.feet for the last two months (June, July).
Based upon to the price in Punjab(region), this has decreased considerably in the last 6 months. February has an average price of Rs. 1.35 crores. During March the price had a strong deflation till Rs. 1.13 crores. The average price for the following two months (April, May) increased from Rs. 1.24 crores to Rs. 1.4 crores. During the last two months the price has had a considerable reduction of 66 % with respect to the previous four months going from Rs. 1.32 crores a Rs. 87.19 lakhs.

They are 69 % more affordable than the average price in Punjab followed by those with 2 with an average price of Rs. 1.23 crores. The most costly properties have 3 bedrooms. They are 136 % more expensive than the average followed by those properties with 4 bedrooms priced at Rs. 1.28 crores.
Based on the average price per sq.feet those properties with 1 bedroom are the cheapest ones with a price of Rs. 5,652 / sq.feet being Rs. 7,779 / sq.feet the average value within the Punjab region. The properties with the most expensive average price are those with 3 bedrooms. These are 61 % more costly than the average followed by those with 4 bedrooms with a price of Rs. 11,451 / sq.feet.

With an average cost of Rs. 98.32 lakhs it is 12 % more affordable than the average in Punjab. This is followed by "Residential Plot" with a price of Rs. 96.02 lakhs. The dearest property type is "Commercial Plot" and is 226 % more expensive than the average, followed by "House" with a cost of Rs. 1.97 crores.
Based on the average cost per sq.feet the cheapest property type is "Residential Plot with a an average cost of Rs. 2,913 / sq.feet, followed by "Land" with a price of Rs. 15,086 / sq.feet. "Commercial Plot" with an average price of Rs. 2.15 lakhs / sq.feet is the most costly type of property followed by "House" at a price of Rs. 62,348 / sq.feet.
