The average price in the Punjab region has had an strong increase in recent months. There has been a strong inflation in the prices in this region.
The price per sq.feet in Punjab has increased strongly in the last 6 months. During October, the average price per sq.feet was Rs. 1,502. The following month (November) the price had a considerable increase reaching Rs. 2,353 per sq.feet. The price per sq.feet for the following two months practically stayed the same, going from Rs. 1,927.5 to Rs. 1,924.5 per sq.feet. In the last two months, the price per sq.feet has had a significant increase of 119 %. This has been obtained by comparing the price of Rs. 1,926 for the first four months of the sample with regard to the previous 4 months and the price of Rs. 2,284.5 per sq.feet for the last two months (February, March).
Based upon to the price in Punjab(region), this has increased considerably in the last 6 months. In the first month sample for October the average price is Rs. 1.85 crores. During November it went through a strong inflation reaching Rs. 2.3 crores In the following two months the average price didn't change much compared to the previous two going from Rs. 2.07 crores to Rs. 2.08 crores. During the last two months the price has had a considerable increase of 124 % with respect to the previous four months going from Rs. 2.08 crores a Rs. 2.58 crores.

They are 89 % more affordable than the average price in Punjab followed by those with 1 with an average price of Rs. 33.18 lakhs. The most costly properties have 4 bedrooms. They are 4 % more expensive than the average followed by those properties with 3 bedrooms priced at Rs. 1.04 crores.
Based on the average price per sq.feet those properties with 2 bedrooms are the cheapest ones with a price of Rs. 163 / sq.feet being Rs. 2,472 / sq.feet the average value within the Punjab region. The properties with the cheapest average price are those with 4 bedrooms. These are 75 % lower than the average followed by those with 3 bedrooms with a price of Rs. 408 / sq.feet.
The graph displaying the average price according to the property type shows "Land" as the cheapest one. With an average cost of Rs. 2.79 crores it is 89 % more affordable than the average in Punjab. This is followed by "Apartment" with a price of Rs. 1.11 crores. The dearest property type is "Agriculture Land" and is 61 % more expensive than the average, followed by "Commercial" with a cost of Rs. 3.28 crores.
Based on the average cost per sq.feet the cheapest property type is "Land with a an average cost of Rs. 264 / sq.feet, followed by "Apartment" with a price of Rs. 289 / sq.feet. "House" with an average price of Rs. 3,049 / sq.feet is the most costly type of property followed by "Agriculture Land" at a price of Rs. 1,566 / sq.feet.
