The rent prices in real estate in Islamabad, in the Islamabad Capital Territory region have fallen considerably in the last couple of months. There has been a strong fall in the rent prices in this city.
The price per sq.feet in Islamabad has had a strong fall during the last 6 months. In December, the average price per sq.feet was Rs. 265.94. In the following month the price per sq.feet fell considerably to Rs. 199.99. The price for the following two months in (February, March) had a considerable fall of 46 with regard to the previous two months. The price per sq.feet has had a considerable rise of 127 % in the last two months compared to the average price for the previous four months. This was obtained by comparing the first four months of the period going from a price per sq.feet of Rs. 169.87 to Rs. 216.33 during April, and May.
When referring to the price in Islamabad (cities), this has fallen considerably in the last 6 months. The rent price in December is Rs. 86,350, rising in January till Rs. 93,400. During the following two months (February, March) the average price had a considerable fall of 70 % with regard to the previous two months. During the last two months the average price has fallen greatly compared to the previous four going from Rs. 76,428.25 to Rs. 55,416, which means a 73 % fall.
