The rent prices in real estate in Islamabad, in the Islamabad Capital Territory region have fallen considerably in the last couple of months. There has been a strong fall in the rent prices in this city.
The price per sq.feet in Islamabad has had a strong fall during the last 6 months. In February, the average price per sq.feet was Rs. 71.3. In the following month the price per sq.feet fell to Rs. 62.61. In the following two months the price per sq.feet has practically remained the same, going from Rs. 66.96 to Rs. 67.76 per sq.feet. The price per sq.feet has had a considerable fall of 73 % in the last two months compared to the average price for the previous four months. This was obtained by comparing the first four months of the period going from a price per sq.feet of Rs. 67.36 to Rs. 49.24 during June, and July.
When referring to the price in Islamabad (cities), this has risen considerably in the last 6 months. The average price during our first sample month during February, is Rs. 60,475. During March the price went through a considerable rise reaching Rs. 74,413. During the following two months (April, May) the average price had a considerable rise of 118 % with regard to the previous two months. Based on an analysis of the first four prices and the last two months the average price has had a strong increase of 135 % during the last two months.

At a price of Rs. 1.09 lakhs they are 77 % more affordable than the average price for Islamabad . With regard to the average price per sq.feet, those properties with 3 bedrooms are the most affordable ones at a cost of Rs. 18.61 / sq.feet, with an average Rs. 43.55 / sq.feet price in Islamabad. The properties with the most expensive average prices have 1 bedroom. They are 9 % more expensive than the average followed by properties with 4 bedrooms with a price at Rs. 27.55 / sq.feet.

According to the average cost per sq.feet, the most affordable property is "Land" at an average price of Rs. 14.24 / sq.feet followed by "Apartment" priced at Rs. 16.15 / sq.feet. "Office" is the most expensive type of property with a Rs. 304.08 / sq.feet value followed by "Commercial" with an average price of Rs. 88.93 / sq.feet.
