The rent prices in real estate in Islamabad, in the Islamabad Capital Territory region have fallen considerably in the last couple of months. There has been a strong fall in the rent prices in this city.
The price per sq.feet in Islamabad has had a strong fall during the last 6 months. In May, the average price per sq.feet was Rs. 1,207. In the following month the price per sq.feet fell considerably to Rs. 35. The price for the following two months in (July, August) had a considerable fall of 2 with regard to the previous two months. The price per sq.feet has had a considerable fall of 1 % in the last two months compared to the average price for the previous four months. This was obtained by comparing the first four months of the period going from a price per sq.feet of Rs. 317.68 to Rs. 2.74 during September, and October.
When referring to the price in Islamabad (cities), there have hardly been any changes in the last 6 months. The average price during our first sample month during May, is Rs. 59,213. During June the price went through a considerable rise reaching Rs. 72,695. During the following two months (July, August) the average price fell 88 % with regard to the previous two months. During the last two months, the average price has fallen with regard to the previous ones. To be precise it has fallen 93 %, going from Rs. 61,878.75 to Rs. 57,333 in September and October.
