The prices in real estate in Islamabad, in the Islamabad Capital Territory region have had a strong rise in the last couple of months. The real estate prices for second hand homes have gone through a strong increase in this city.
The price per sq.feet in Islamabad has increased strongly during the last 6 months. In November, the average price per sq.feet was Rs. 4,548. In December this price pretty much remained the same at a value of Rs. 4,433 per sq.feet. The price for the following two months in (January, February) had a considerable increment of 613 %. The price per sq.feet has had a considerable increase of 138 % in the last two months compared to the average price for the previous four months. This was obtained by comparing the first four months of the period going from a price per sq.feet of Rs. 16,006.5 to Rs. 22,123.5 during March, and April.
Based upon to the price in Islamabad (cities), this has gone downing the last 6 months. In our first sample month during November, the average price is Rs. 1 crores. In December This price remains at Rs. 1.01 crores. During the following two months (January, February) the average price had a considerable reduction of 84 % with regard to the previous two months. During the last two months, the average price has reduced with regard to the previous ones. To be precise it has gone down 92 %, going from Rs. 92.63 lakhs to Rs. 84.93 lakhs in March and April.

The properties with the highest average prices have 3 bedrooms. They are 1227 % more expensive than the average followed by properties with 4 bedrooms with a price at Rs. 33,766 / sq.feet.

According to the average cost per sq.feet, the cheapest property type is "Land" at an average cost of Rs. 1,114 / sq.feet followed by "Residential Plot" priced at Rs. 2,032 / sq.feet. "Commercial" is the most costly type of property with a Rs. 20,097 / sq.feet cost followed by "Office" with an average price of Rs. 15,517 / sq.feet.
