The rent prices in real estate in Karachi, in the Sindh region have risen considerably in the last couple of months. There has been a strong rise in the rent prices this city.
The price per sq.feet in Karachi has risen strongly during the last 6 months. In April, the average price per sq.feet was Rs. 65.43. In the following month the price per sq.feet rose considerably to Rs. 97.91. The price for the following two months in (June, July) had a considerable rise of 184 %. The price per sq.feet has had a considerable rise of 192 % in the last two months compared to the average price for the previous four months. This was obtained by comparing the first four months of the period going from a price per sq.feet of Rs. 116.02 to Rs. 222.78 during August, and September.
When referring to the price in Karachi (cities), this has risen considerably in the last 6 months. The average price during our first sample month during April, is Rs. 85,838. During May the price went through a considerable rise reaching Rs. 1.16 lakhs. During the following two months (June, July) the price has had an average rise from Rs. 1.01 lakhs to Rs. 1.15 lakhs. During the last two months, the average price has barely gone through any changes with regard to the previous average values going from an average value of Rs. 1.08 lakhs and Rs. 1.12 lakhs between August and September.

The properties with the most expensive average prices have 4 bedrooms. They are 136 % more expensive than the average followed by properties with 1 bedroom with a price at Rs. 110.65 / sq.feet.

According to the average cost per sq.feet, the most affordable property is "Land" at an average price of Rs. 37 / sq.feet followed by "Commercial" priced at Rs. 48 / sq.feet. "Apartment" is the most affordable type of property with a Rs. 208.64 / sq.feet value followed by "House" with an average price of Rs. 164.3 / sq.feet.
